Sue-meg (formerly Patrick's Point) occupies a forested promontory jutting into the Pacific north of Trinidad, one of the most dramatic coastal settings in California. The park's 124 sites are spread across three camping areas within old-growth Sitka spruce forest, all within walking distance of the headland's tide pools, sea stacks, and agate-strewn beaches.

The park anchors Northern California's lesser-known but fiercely competitive coastal camping corridor. Summer sites book solid, and the oceanfront spots disappear first.
