Dibs on Dirt ("we," "us," or "our") operates the campsite availability alert service at dibsondirt.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
We collect only what's needed to run the alert service:
We do not collect payment information directly. If we introduce paid features, billing is handled by a third-party payment processor subject to their own privacy policy.
Your mobile phone number is collected only when you explicitly opt in to SMS alerts by checking the opt-in box in your notification settings. Providing your number is always optional.
We never share or sell your mobile opt-in information or SMS consent to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Once enrolled, you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on campsite availability activity in your watched parks.
Your information is used solely to operate the Dibs on Dirt alert service — to send you campsite availability notifications by email or SMS, and to manage your alert preferences. We do not sell, rent, or license your personal data to any third party.
We share your data only with infrastructure providers that are strictly necessary to run the service — for example, email and SMS delivery platforms. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for any marketing purpose. This applies regardless of any other data-sharing arrangement.
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

We use PostHog for product analytics — to understand how the service is used and to improve it. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage to track anonymous usage events. We do not use advertising cookies or sell analytics data.
