SMS campsite alerts are not available

Last updated: September 27, 2026

Dibs on Dirt does not currently offer SMS or text-message alerts. We do not collect phone numbers or enroll people in a text-message program.

For supported watches, Dibs on Dirt can send availability notifications by email and push notification. An alert is not a reservation: always confirm availability and complete the booking on ReserveCalifornia or Recreation.gov.
